Alpine for Lightroom is a set of colour presets and profiles for Lightroom 7.3 or later and Photoshop CC 19.1 or later, that are designed for creatively effecting images of forests and mountains, to give the “woodsman” style of look that is popular certain outdoors magazines. The style of the presets generally works by enhancing the greens and browns in an image, and are best suited to photos which contain a lot of these tones. As well as a selection of Presets, the set also comes with a number of experimental Creative Profiles too, which can be accessed from the profile browser in Lightroom or Camera RAW. Alpine is designed to work best with lower contrast images, typically shot on misty or overcast days, although there is also some that will work on sunnier, high contrast images too.
Alpine includes a set of 19 Presets and a set of 5 Creative profiles.

Some General Note about Presets
Not all images are suitable for all presets. Some images just won’t produce pleasing results and won’t be appropriate for the type of presets you may be trying to use, depending on the subject matter. It is also important to note that any preset won’t be a magic bullet. Presets should be considered as a starting point. More often than not images may require additional adjustments after applying presets.
